Fulton Plaza Thursdays

fpt_poster_cropped.jpg

Where can you enjoy a cheap ice-cold beverage, live music, and more kinds of food than you can shake a churro at? It's Fulton Plaza Thursdays! There's simply no better way in Fresno to relax after work, the first Thursday of each month through October on the Fulton Mall at Kern Street.

An ensemble of distinguished local musicians will be performing a rich and eclectic set on September 7. Violinist Patrick Contreras will lead the ensemble through an evening of music influenced by a wide range of styles. Contreras will be joined by star mandolinist Eva Scow, well-known jazz and blues guitarist Steve Ono, former state fiddle champion Dalisay Richter, and a troupe of flamenco guitarists and dancers. These artists' raw talent -- and the variety of styles to be played -- will make for an unforgettable musical experience. You don't want to miss this!

The 2006 season of Fulton Plaza Thursdays is sponsored by The Fresno Bee, Heineken, ABC 30, 95.7 The Fox, Generation Homes, Fresno City Councilmember Cynthia Sterling, and the Fresno Grizzlies. The September show is sponsored by Assemblymember Juan Arambula and Educational Employees Credit Union. Please be sure to thank these sponsors for believing in downtown Fresno's after-hours possibilities!
