Electronic Recycling Event at the Fresno Fairgrounds to Benefit Officer Nieto
On September 9 & 10, the Fresno Fairgrounds will host an electronic recycling event to benefit Fresno Police Officer Brian Nieto. In an effort to support Officer Nieto, who was shot and critically wounded while on duty on Monday, July 31, 2006, the Fresno Fairgrounds will donate 100% of its earnings from the electronic recycling event to the Officer Nieto Fund through the Fresno Police Officers' Association.
There is NO charge to you for dropping off your electronic waste; just a change to do a little cleaning and help out a community member. The more electronic waste collected, the more money the Fresno Fairgrounds earns to donate to Officer Nieto's Fund.
So bring ANYTHING will a plug -- computer screens, TVs, cell phones, stereos...heck, even an old treadmill! The only items not accepted are those with Freon.
So, seriously...please bring your electronic waste out to the Fairgrounds on September 9 & 10 from 8a.m. until 2p.m. You can't drop it off at the dump...so why not bring it here and help a great cause!?!?! For more information call 650.FAIR.
Drop Off Spot: Big Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S. Chance Ave. Enter the parking lot off of Kings Canyon Boulevard, just east of Chance Ave.
