problems on the site

hey, i don't know if it's just me, but none of the advertisements show up in my browser. i'm using the latest version of firefox (i even downloaded it new again today) on a mac.

also, on the front page, now of the pictures show up.

i can't figure it out, and don't exactly remember when this started happening, but it's been a while. the rest of the site functions properly. and, i don't have any similar problems on other web pages (bee, la times, espn, whatever).

any ideas?

speakin' of which...

who ever did the ad for the Art Museum's Carnival..

Freakin' cool, man. I liiiiiike it.

to-dah

i finally figured it out. i had a setting in my norton turned on that was blocking ads on sites. it apparently thought almost everything that wasn't text on the site was ads. problem solved.

it's definately a reoccuring thing. i figure that it's a problem with my set up and not yours, but i don't know how to fix it.

(apparently i also don't know how to use my shift key. har har.)

hrm...

Thanks for letting us know. Everything looks good to me - server blips can happen tho. We've seen images and ads disappear before but it is generally due to a reboot and fixes itself quickly. Please let me know if this is a recurring thing for you.
