Reveal Secret Fresno Businesses!

Did you know that there is an exercise equipment manufacturer in Fresno who sells their high-end product around the world (and it's not Zinkin Fitness)? This little-known business employs over 80 people and has been in business for over 30 years. Who is this company and why is their equipment in NFL gyms, but not in my local gym?

Saturday morning at 9:00 (or Sunday at noon, or podcasst anytime) Dr. Tim Stearns and I will introduce you to Dennis Keiser, President of locally-owned Keiser Corporation. The show is part of The Pulse, 90.7 FM, KFSR's Business Round Table.

Dennis presents an interesting story of a successful start-up business that has grown to prominence by developing equipment for athletes worldwide, and is becoming a leader in developing equipment and programs for Senior Citizen health. Anyone who is interested in starting a business or developing a product will enjoy the show.

Are there other businesses who have been successful but are largely unnoticed in our community?

Here are some unsung

Here are some unsung businesses I've come across from this region (well, maybe some are somewhat sung):

Optistreams, Inc.

Pinnacle Armor

Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments (not a glamorous industry, or eco-friendly for that matter, but they care about this community nonetheless)

Pacific International Marketing & Promotions, or PIMP (overly glamorous industry for Fresno's tastes, but who else in Fresno has customers such as Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton, Paula Abdul, Oprah?)

Hyperbidder (Porterville)

CityVantage

Launch Wifi

Duncan Enterprises (we all know about them, but they deserve another look nowadays...)
