The Visalia-based music and art magazine known as Sound & Vision Magazine www.soundnvisionmag.com is throwing their first songwriter celebration. This is the same magazine that brought the highly successful Sound & Vision Music & Arts Festival to the Visalia Oaks Park last year, entertaining over 1000 music and art fans.

This time the magazine has gathered some of the best local and nationwide songwriters for a very intimate event at Howie & Son's Pizza, titling the event "We Cast Light".

"We Cast Light" will be a one-time-only music and art show featuring solo performances by:

JANA HUNTER (Houston-based musician, discovered by Devendra Banhart; who released her first record on his new record label Gnomonsong Records)

VERNAL FALLS (local songwriter, musician, and music promoter)

A. THOMAS ESTES (Visalia-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist)

RADIOACTIVE CAULIFLOWER (Merced-based songwriter and member of the band El Olio Wolof).

VISUAL ART will also be on display.
