Bring your "kids" to the mall from 6pm to 8pm. Proceeds benefit the Clovis Pet Adoption Center

WHO: Dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes…any two, four or no legged member of the family along with their owners. (Animals and their owners only between 6pm and 8pm).

WHAT: Pets are a part of family and Santa will be here to help capture the holiday memories with a photo. Packages start at $12.95 with proceeds benefiting the Clovis Pet Adoption Center. Pet Extreme will provide a gift for each dog or cat that visits Santa.

The Clovis Pet Adoption Center will have information on how you can adopt a new member of your family along with photos of available pets.

Christmas at the Grove will provide Santa and the elves for this furry family benefit.

WHERE: Center Court at Santa's Village, inside Sierra Vista Mall. Sierra Vista Mall located on the southeast corner of Clovis and Shaw avenues.

WHEN: Tuesday November 28, 2006, 6pm to 8pm. And again on Tuesday December 5th, same times.

WHY: The Clovis Pet Adoption Center opened in July 2001, and is still in the development stages. Plans call for an education center, where adoptive families will be able to learn more about the animal they select as well as helpful animal-rearing principles and practices. Planning also is under way to post photographs of animals available for adoption, making it possible for families to make tentative selections from home.

All pets adopted from the Adoption Center are spayed or neutered, given shots and a physical, and micro chipped before they leave, unless special circumstances exist. Adoption fees dogs are $85-100 per animal plus the cost of altering the animal. Adoption fees for cats are $55.
