Fresno Poets' Association feat. B.H. Fairchild

The third installment of the Fresno Poets' Association 2006-07 season features an evening of poetry with B.H. Fairchild. The reading inside the Bonner Auditorium at the Fresno Art Museum will be followed by a reception and book signing in the museum gallery.

Fairchild is a celebrated contemporary American poet who was a finalist for the National Book Award for his poetry collection The Art of the Lathe. The former National Endowment for the Arts and Guggenheim fellow has published his poems in dozens of journals and magazines, including The New Yorker, Poetry, and the Best American Poems 2000 anthology.

The FPA is supported by Poets and Writers, Inc., through grants it has received from the James Irvine Foundation and the Bonner Family Foundation. Further funding comes from donation by FPA members. The 2006-07 Fresno Reading Series is presented by the Fresno Poets' Association, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Fresno Free College Foundation and the Fresno Art Museum.
