El Olio Wolof is a great way to spend a Saturday.
Everybody loves El Olio Wolof. Don't bother disagreeing with me. It won't help you here. Having said that, let's all jump on this bandwagon of musical radicalness, and have a good old fashioned sing-a-long on Saturday when these guys hit the stage.
From San Francisco, the city that brought you hills and car chase spectaculars, comes Scissors For Lefty. These guys are getting big, so this might be your last chance to interact with them before they become too good for you. Don't blame them, blame their adoring fans.
If you're from Fresno, and haven't seen The Same Shape, then let me fill you in. They are all 10 feet tall, and have laser guided rocket arms that detatch and can bring down entire planets.* Also...they play really good music, so here's your chance to see these half men/half super robot planet killers.*
*may be a lie
Opening up will be Malcom Sosa from fresno's own Rademacher. He will be performing an acoustic set to get things started. I know you all wanted to see the other guitarist up there instead, but he has plans to wash his hair that evening, and unfortunately, he cannot reschedule.
All in all, let me say a big HECK YEAH to this show. You come, okay?
