It's Art Hop, and Fulton Plaza Thursdays. That means downtown is going to be filled with people tonight. People, buildings, art, alcohol, music...Fresno's acting like a city! Dancing in the streets! We're a little excited.
Your guide to downtown Art Hop is here, and you might have to consider speed-hopping tonight there is so much going on. Another brand new gallery is having its grand opening tonight- read the interview with the three artists behind Club Jinnaka and be sure a stop by the new space. They've outdone themselves. Club Jinnaka represents what you can do in Fresno and very few other places: take an unused storefront, add a bunch of sweat equity, and open a beautiful gallery.
Art making you hungry? We're salivating at the idea of Laotian beef jerky in a tomatillo sauce. Jennifer Diel reviews BK Kitchen and gives it an adventurous thumbs up.
Plus a new Jukebox by Kumar, who does not indulge in the beef jerky. And the third installment of Flowing with Famous with a live acoustic studio performance by Pinkeye, who rock plugged in at Tokyo Garden tonight.
