A Fresno Christmas Tradition

I Love living here.

Lots of people dis Fresno. My cuz came and left within 6 months. Sad. I believe it to be her loss. Her's and her kids'. Sometimes you've got to give time a chance and get to know the place. They missed out!

Last night, I was overjoyed to see my kids' faces light up at the sights of Christmas Tree Lane. It's a magical thing every year. There is nothing more special to me than being able to share this season with loved ones. I live for these moments.

Some people might think it's an overplayed event but to my kids, to me and to my man, it is beautiful and wonderful and you even think at times, "How did they do that?". It's ours to enjoy as long as the lights are up. I love this small town feeling I get living here from time to time. I never, ever saw anything like this in LA. It makes me appreciate Fresno a bit more. Did you know this tradition began with one single tree 84 years ago...?

We haven't been to Huntington Blvd yet this season but we'll be there soon too. I hope you go with your loved ones to see the lights and enjoy something so bright, so beautiful and so unique to our town.

Wishing Everyone Happy Holidays to remember!!!
