We at Aithon are extremely excited to present, "The Time of Your Life" by William Saroyan, to start off our company's first season in March of 2007. William Saroyan, being a native to Fresno, was a clear choice; this Pulitzer prize-winning author and playwrights name is well known throughout the community yet rarely are his accomplishments produced in Fresno. Therefore, Aithon is more than happy to put our time, effort, and talents behind his work and share with the community to which he once called home. With the unique human values depicted in his writing, we hope to convey why Fresno honors William Saroyan.

Play Summary:
Strange, kindly Joe's search for happiness and answers to the far reaching enigmas of life takes him to Nick's waterfront saloon where his friend and errand boy, huge and simple, falls in love with a fragile lady of the evening. To protect their happiness, Joe almost shoots a vice raider. Wandering in and out of the saloon are vivid characters that want to get more living done and are as unsure as Joe about how to go about it.
