The fifth installment of the Fresno Poets' Association 2006-07 season features an evening of poetry with Bob Hicok. The reading inside the Bonner Auditorium at the Fresno Art Museum will be followed by a reception and book signing in the museum gallery.

Hicok is the author of five books, including the forthcoming poetry collection This Clumsy Living. His acclaimed 2001 collection Animal Soul was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Hicok has been thrice published in the annual Best American Poetry anthologies, and has won two Pushcart Prizes and an NEA Fellowship.

The FPA is supported by Poets and Writers, Inc., through grants it has received from the James Irvine Foundation and the Bonner Family Foundation. Further funding comes from donation by FPA members. The 2006-07 Fresno Reading Series is presented by the Fresno Poets' Association, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Fresno Free College Foundation and the Fresno Art Museum.
