Golf World magazine has a big article on the fate of the PGA tour in Fresno. There are just a few problems: No sponsorship and no golf course.

Gotta love a story that rehashes a decades-old barb about Fresno from Johnny Carson:

"The only thing worse than spending the night in Fresno," the late Johnny Carson once said in one of his frequent riffs on the city, "is spending two nights there."

Carson left the Tonight Show in 1992 and died in 2005. Ace reporting from Golf World, as always!
