This is a re-post of an entry that I posted to ModestoFamous.com today. Your support would be very valuable to us over here!

Many of you have expressed concern for ModestoFamous.com and for me personally as I deal with the Bee and that means the world to me. I recently was interviewed by acclaimed author, N.L. Belardes of Bakersfield and the link to his finished article can be found here.
This article will be read by thousands of people throughout the valley and will appear on Belardes' widely read blog, Paperback Writer, which saw it's unique visitors reach 66,000 last month and Bakersfield's Bakotopia which is the most widely accessed social networking site in the Bakersfield area.
Please read it and leave comments if you have a minute or two no matter which side that you may take on the issue. I want to fight for Modesto and for every person that lives here.
Sadly for me, my days with this site could be coming to an end soon. I honestly am just tired of all the ups and downs. I will let you know if negotiations take me in a positive direction but I will not do anything that is not in the best interest of this wonderful community.

good article
Ruben, though Modesto Famous may be near to your heart, (and no doubt is vital to the community,) -unless the cause is sharpening you and feeding you in the process, -you're first focus has got to be your health, your (fiance? wife?) and your girls.
If the fight of this is going to deplete you in any of these (more important areas, ---who are people who need you,) blow the site... Your health is not worth the sacrifice, and your time spent with your loved ones will be held in their hearts forever... a website is just a website, (and there is no comparison.)
If the fight makes you stronger, -then great, keep rolling.
If it isn't, again, cut it loose. Life is too short as it is.
(...and whoever smashed the quarter window on the comet behind the pearl building? -you suck.)
