On Friday, March 2 (7:00), Sunday, March 4 (8:30), Thursday, March 8 (8:30) and Friday, March 9 (10:00) the words and characters of William Shakespeare will live again on the Fresno stage courtesy of Theatre Ventoux, the Rogue Performance Festival, Dianna's Studio South, and the patients at Parkview Memorial Sanitarium, a self-described "treatment facility for the mentally uncertain, the emotionally unconcerned, and the psychically unconnected."
Led by The Doctor, a man of "dubious compassion and sardonic mien," these "mentally mangled mummers" will breathe life into Hamlet, Shylock, Lady Macbeth, Mercutio and a host of others for an evening of delight and distraction sure to engage and entertain.
Patrons of our little psychological soiree will also receive $5.00 off any performance of Theatre Ventoux's premier production, This Flattering Glass, our adaptation of Shakespeare's Richard II that will run Fridays and Saturdays, April 27 -- May 12 at California Arts Academy, Blackstone (Formerly Cynthia Merrill's.)
If you savor the language of the Bard, if you love acting that is compelling, if you are in the mood for something wonderful...join us.
