I was referring to 'Doug'. God bless him, he means well but tends to add fuel to a fire that needs to die out. When one makes comments that are a bit far out, it tends to get folks mad. One has to temper 'passionate thoughts' with level headedness.

Who ever got that thread going again did it to try and get folks mad. That is horrid. Doug got upset and posted to and that is how these things take on a life of its own.

Doug, if you read, do not feel angry at MOI, I am old geezer who tries to stay out of the courts, do not want to spend my old age in a carboard box in London. MOI tries not to say anything that lets folks pick his pocket. One has to be careful.

Do hope that clears up the mystery. Along with being a chap with bollody cheek at times, can be thick as a brick and leave folks guessing.

The truly grand thing about America is that it bares its soul for all to see. There is sin but there is also grace. As long as folks still believe in the promise of America and try to correct wrongs it is still a grand place to be.

David hasn't posted in this thread since March of 2007. He hasn't posted any new threads since June of '07. That hardly qualifies as going "on and on." If you look closely, you will see that this thread was brought back up by a blog spammer.

Still, I guess it is better to accept and hide this country's discrimination than to stand up for ourselves?

You are more then welcome to get on a plane and go back. You can return all the welfare, housing, medical, free public schooling, free school lunchs,jail, prison and other money you have gotten or leeched from American Taxpayers before you leave. You are in a civilized country now you can not live with 10 people in a 1 bedroom apartment. Most apartment managers put your familys application in the round file. The fire code only allows two per bedroom. You do not rent 2 apartments. One to live in and one to fill with dirt to plant crops in. You can not be cutting holes in apartment floors to cook in and squat in. Thats why there are stoves and toilets. You can not turn the patio into mini barnyards. On New Year's you can not be sneaking live pigs in to kill for the ancestor's spirits. Denny's is open all night.
Maybe instead of jail we should send all the Hmong wanna be gangstas back to Loas or Cambodia. Since they never had their own country or government. Just an old general and his mafia goon squad that goes around America shaking them down for money.

If you have never heard of the genocide against the Hmong people please buy this DVD....its from Rebecca Sommers...the DVD is called Hunted Like Animals....this is only a few storyies and clips of what the Hmong people are going through as we speak...or visit factfinding.org. For 30 years no one has spoken out against this cruel treament that have been done to the Hmong people....who aided the Vietnam War as soldier who fought a SERCET WAR for the USA CIA...Please help spread the word....we are as guilty as those who are doing these horrible things if we know about it and not say a word...for not speaking out we are as guilty...please help!

"The [Patriot Act] allows the government to grant waivers to groups it does not consider a threat to the United States.

Already, waivers have been granted to the Karen National Liberation Army, a separatist group in Burma, and Cuban Alzados, an anti-Castro group.

The waivers by the Department of Homeland Security allow members of these groups to obtain a green card or seek asylum.

The department is looking for a way to provide waivers for Hmong refugees and the Montagnards of Vietnam, Gonzalez said. The Montagnards, from Vietnam's Central Highlands, also aided the U.S. effort during the Vietnam War."

`for the same things USA believed in....but why all of the sudden the terrorist from the patroit act..? as we speak my hmong people are dying from a genocide that started 30 years ago...america have done nothing to help....please visit (factfinding.org) there is a holocast happening right now and that hurts to see that they would call us terrorist....if you do not know of the serious actions being done to my hmong people because of our aide with the USA..please check out the site i have listed above....i pray that they get equal treatment as the jews and armenien...dont know if i splled it right but you see what i mean....i see america as a good country and the best but somehow i see that sometimes its not all that we wish it to be....

the above post may have been inspired by a recent article (I think in the Bee,) that cited that there was some difficulty in Hmong fighters (from the 'Nam era,) getting citizenship,
---as they were being possibly classified as 'freedom fighters,'(IE terrorists,) by recent laws defining terrorism.

(The thread can be found back a couple of weeks on here.)

The article was NOT clear as to whether the Hmong (former)CIA fighters were:

A. Simply backed up in the process of getting their citizenship granted, (which is a status and filing with the Govt. that has been given to other US assistance fighters,)
-meaning it was pending approval, just further back on the pipeline, (no malice or judgement meant against these individuals,)

-or-

B. If it was a flat out denial of the status, in fact calling them 'terrorist.'
(Which would be totally different, unfortunate and wrong.)

There has been no follow up, so at this time, the initial 'spin,' of the thread and article does 'present as if' the citizenship is being witheld. (It's just not clear if such is the case.)

David, whoever said that the Hmong were terrorists? I have never heard that. That would be a riddiculous thing to say. All I have ever heard about the Hmong people is that they are hard-working, industrious, honest, and decent people. Your description of the plight of the Hmong is Laos is very moving and compelling, but I am not sure what the context is. All the best.
