Comedy Central takes a stab at Fresno

Three Strikes is a pilot penned by former writers of Frasier, Seinfeld and King of the Hill. Centered around a bush league baseball team made of MLB rejects sent to Fresno, California, the show's pilot wasn't picked up. Now, the show's producers are banking on the success of YouTube to gain momentum for Three Strikes.

Includes a cameo of the "Welcome to Fresno" sign.

Am I to understand that someone put a waterfront in Fresno?

If so...you know, it's one thing to make fun of a place because of what it is. But making fun of it for what it isn't, or isn't even close to being? Lame.

it's kind of funny, and if Reno 911 can go over well on Comedy Central then why did they not buy up this one. I think the problem is that compared to Reno 911 there needed to be more women characters, and Three Strikes would have gone over well in the late 1980s cable TV.

Where is Fresno's ocean front with party boats? notice the name on the boat in part 3.
