Solar Observing & Telescope Clinic
Central Valley Astronomers, THE astronomy club of Central California, is hosting two public events on Saturday, April 21, 2007, during Vintage Days at Fresno State: Solar Observing and The 4th Annual CVA Telescope Clinic. Both events will be located in front of the Downing Planetarium.
During the day, CVA will offer public solar observing through specially filtered telescopes as part of celebrating both Vintage Days and The Astronomical League's Astronomy Day.
In the evening, CVA will conduct a public telescope clinic. Bring your telescope and CVA members will teach you how to operate it and make minor repairs and adjustments. Don't have a telescope? Come by and look through ours. The Moon, Saturn, and other celestial sights will be visible.
Both events are FREE. Both events are WEATHER PERMITTING.
