Re: JazzFresno Brazilian jazz show

Glad you enjoyed the concert, Terell. The band really enjoyed playing in Fresno, and were impressed with the enthusiastic crowd. Can't wait till their CD comes out!

THE SHOW WAS GREAT!!!

From a bulletin I posted on MySpace:

Guitarists Anthony Wilson & Chico Pinheiro really did create somethin' great with this one. It's a four man quartet, also showcasing a fantastic Brazilian drummer by tha name of Edu Ribiero. You've got to see/hear it to believe it! On bass is Danny McKay of Monterey, CA.

I had tha pleasure of experiencing this group live last night. It was an amazing show. In Fresno, we had tha joy of a special guest artist Eva Scow, mandolin virtuoso. She's a local talent, but u wouldn't know it by how she plays. (a bit of humor)

Anyway, if this group does come to an area near you...GO SEE THEM!!! You won't regret it.

PS: Props to Fresno's Inner Ear Poetry network. I witnessed a show of yours for tha first time at your 5th Annual Event. It was great. Still some work to do (namely, proper EQ and PA adjustments for tha vocalists) but OVERALL: You guys are a GREAT thing for Fresno. We had some really high quality artists in tha mix that night.

AND Beau Sia is CRAZY...In a very good way!!!

GET CULTURED PEOPLE!!!

Peace.
