PopLord CD Release Party

It's pure pop as it should be! Come out to Tokyo Garden on Friday, April 27 at 9:00 p.m. and celebrate the release of local duo PopLord's CD. Fresno's Third Rail Power Trip and LA's Ari Shine round out the guest list. The cost of admission is a mystery but intelligent, original music of this caliber is worth any price.

Stan and Tom of Poplord, Third rail power trip
I have seen...
Two bands that have had the following scenario occur:
You go to a show, the band plunks down and plays,
and you're suddenly wandering around like a 70's era cult member on an airport ramp looking for a suit to put a daisy through,
whole time muttering
'...doooood, this is amazing,,,
where is there CD,,,,,
must,,,,, have,,,,
CD....!'
with this glazed over look of joy..
(you-so-know-what-look-this-is...)
---Then you find out that it's only their first or second gig publically, and they havn't RECORDED anything yet...
(but they play tighter, and with more spunk and drive and most anything you have ever heard...)
Those two bands I can say that about?

and
the JumpBacks...
-These are amazing guys, more fun than a barrel of monkeys, and recommended by 3 out of 5 dentists... (the 4th one is a die-hard Leo Sayer fan... and I don't have to tell you how THEY are....)
(true, PopLord don't have a hottie on upright bass and a human blender on drums... but that's okay too... they don't have to.. they're
PopLord...)
(more than two members of PopLord would be wrong,,
like a third member to the Green Hornet and Kato,
or somebody else in there with Gomez and Morticia...)
