CSU Summer Arts - Two Weeks of Nonstop Creativity

Earn 3 Units in 2 Unforgettable Weeks

Dance, paint, act, write, animate, compose music, create photos with renowned guest artists and master teachers! There is still time to enroll in the California State University Summer Arts program hosted by CSU, Fresno during the month of July. Application deadlines for the twelve two-week intensives are May 21st and June 4th. A catalog describing each course is available on line at www.csusummerarts.org or by calling 559-241-6090.

The CSU Summer Arts student body consists of college students, teachers, arts professionals and serious amateurs in the visual and performing arts. Students can register for 3—6 transferable units and scholarships are available to those who qualify. All courses are taught by guest artists at the top of their fields including Grammy and Pulitzer Prize winners, prominent stage and screen performers, screenwriters, composers, and lead animators from Pixar Animation Studios.

Some of this year's workshop intensives include:

1) The Second City - known as "the Harvard of comedy", focuses on improvisational training and boasts alumni including Jim Belushi, Bill Murrary, Alan Arkin & Tina Fey.
2) Going Public: Architecture, Landscape, and the Emerging Field of Public Art — Lita Albuquerque heads the list of guest artists addressing the challenge of multiple creative disciplines.
