The Brown Derby restaurant in Los Angeles was once famous for menu items named after celebrities. However, only a few of the creations have survived to this day, such as the Cobb salad (named after baseball great Ty Cobb), the Caesar salad (named after comedian Sid Caesar), and the eponymous Shirley Temple.

Little Brazil

In honor of Brazilian independence day yesterday, we put the Brazilian emo band Fresno on this week's jukebox. Been looking for a place that stocks all your Brazilian favorites? Check out Produce Land & Deli on First and Bullard, says Brazil News RTV. They've got Guarana soda (the Jolt of the Amazon), pao de queijo (yummy cheese bread), tropical juices, and candies. Plus all Brazilian products are 10% off through September 11th.
