Fresno Rainbow Pride 2007 kicks off with the parade on Saturday at 10am. Here's to hoping Fresno's trans prom royalty have an elaborate float.

Totally unrelated: Ask Tony award nominee Audra McDonald a question. The Times loves it some Audra.

Trans Prom Royalty

Both of them will be honored as Grand Marshals. Crystal (Johnny Vera) will definitely be in the parade. As of earlier this week, Cinthia Covarrubias had not confirmed. Cinthia and her family have faced a barrage of hate crap since Cinthia's run for Prom King.

Johnny was working on having a surprise for Parade goers. It may come off. It may not. But it'll be fun.

Parade starts at 10. The festival begins immediately after (around 11 o'clock) on Fulton south of Olive. See everyone there!!!
