Phantom Private Messages

We've been getting reports that Famous users are being notified of phantom private messages. We're not exactly sure what's going on. The sexy internet monkeys at Advomatic are currently banging on typewriters to see if they can't fix the problem. I'll update this blog as news happens. Thanks for being patient.

...I received 12 of them. It kinda SUCKS 'cuz I was outta town and those extra messages bump out GOOD email people send me.

I get the 'You have a private message' bullshit, PLUS now I'm getting the 'Your Thread has been updated,' AND 'someone has replied to your post' BS.

Nobody has updated / changed / replied to anything, AND my settings are set to not ever email me....

they need to whip those monkeys. they haven't eliminated the phantom 1 message. i've had and read other messages since this started, and yet still the phantom 1.
