New literary thoughts for the people of Fresno, and is there a problem with trash?

I've just written a social criticism after traveling to Minnesota about some of Bakersfield's trash problems. Do any Fresno areas have the same problems?
Anyway...
We've got some new book discussions on Paperback Writer: On Memoirs: Matildakay talks shop.
On traveling through Minnesota, new books that are out, and a social criticism of the trashy side of Bakersfield: Part Two is more informative than Part One.

disposable...
I agree: disposable society... I hope one day California streets and freeways get cleaned up. Recycling and clean streets are a beautiful thing...

traveling overland
This May I went to Missouri via I-40 and Back on I-70 to I-15 in a RV.
I noticed the road side trash since I was the navigator, There was very little if any trash along the roads in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado and Utah only a lot of Road Kill (I've never seen a live Armadillo but I saw many dead ones).
Now there was a lot of Trash along I-15 in Nevada near Las Vegas, and road side trash once we got back on 99 and California, But then those other states had regular lawn mowing next to the freeways and turnpikes also it's a tornado corridor so most trash must be blown someplace else.
I think US Americans must be trashy all over the nation, we are a throw away disposable society, hopefully that will change in to 100% recycling.
