Don't miss doggies donning poodle skirts strutting their stuff on the runway for a good cause!

The Valley Animal Center invites valley residents to the "Cool Cats and Doggy Divas Hot Summer Nights" on Saturday, August 11 from 5:30 — 10 pm at TorNino's banquet hall located at 5080 North Blackstone Avenue in Fresno. The event is a fundraiser for Valley Animal Center and will include sit-down dinner, a classic car show, live and silent auctions, raffle and a fashion show featuring dogs modeling '50s attire.

Tickets are $50 per person for adults, $30 per person for children 2 - 10 years old and $375 to reserve a table of eight. Tickets may be purchased at the California Feline Foundation located at 550 N. Van Ness Avenue in Fresno (just north of Belmont) or by calling the shelter at (559) 233-8690. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
