ahuh...
orchid growers are strange, gifted, intelligent, and beautifully weird people, -you know that?
kudos... good phrase...
my bad
ok, ok, so I couldn't spell that day
I guess I could be cute & say that I was trying to make a pun,
you know, "ahead of the curb", as in already waiting at the curb, for a taxi to leave Fresno
but thats so tortured, it almost has to be an inside joke
any, I guess I just made up a new saying, "ahead of the curb", yeah, thats what I meant to say, thats my story & I'm sticking to it
;-p
Not to Nitpick
I think it is edluv
aw c'mon...
I'll pay you a quarter...
(and yes the phrase is: 'ahead of the curve.')
eggads, me and Edlove in agreement on something, the world is going to freakin' implode...
Mother
I have met Jarah's mother once. Very nice and personable. Please don't touch me.
and can I tell ya, can I like tell ya, huh, can I? can I?
...like, once I was at Tokyo,
and I saw Jarah give this big hug and a kiss to one of the guys from Rademacher,
(the hairy friendly one, with the 'Royal Tennanbaums' sweatband...)
---and I thought HE was her boyfriend...
(and I thought that for a loooong time...)
(...so I stole his beer bottle and have it in this little shrine in my living room... yup.)
Then I found out that she used to go out with, like, so, NOT the hairy one,
---but the tall skinny one who stands in the front of the band who has the David Byrne obsession...
so I had them TOTALLY mixed up...
(I tell myself that the bottle was from the tall skinny one, but deep down inside I know I'm just fooling myself...)
(I did.)
(-we need to start a Jarah cult or something...)
Seems like she left only yesterday...
...dude, you know Jarah's Mother?
I never even thought of Jarah as having a mother...
and you KNOW her? (like to talk to her and stuff?)
I mean, I've seen Jarah just wandering into Javawava to have her morning coffee, (once, I did, i really did, mumbled 'hi jarah,' too...)
I think she saw my truck, wrinkled her nose a little and opened the door and went in...
but you know her MOTHER...
can I touch you?
Football
I heard from Jarah's mother that Jarah doesn't like football so I am guessing baseball is low on the interest level as well.
not to nitpick
but isn't it "ahead of the curve?"
interesting stuff, though.
and, as for baseball, she mentioned in one of the last flowing w/famous podcasts that she hadn't been to a grizzlies game (10 years now). not sure if that demonstrates her feelings toward the entire sport, but i'm guessing she's not a big fan.
I hope Jarah don't like baseball
seems Philly is known for other things besides a Cheesesteak
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Through the last-place finishes, September collapses and every agonizing failure over the past 125 years, no team has lost quite like the Philadelphia Phillies.
Futility has followed them since the day they were born, and Sunday night was no different for the losingest team sports history. Loss No. 10,000 came when Albert Pujols hit two of the St. Louis Cardinals' six homers in a 10-2 rout.
