Cities give tax breaks etc to stimulate the economy. Would you rather have that land there empty? Look at any large company or chain store out in River Park. They were coaxed to come here and probably got some big benefits from it. It created jobs, provided goods and services to citizens, etc.

Stop whining. When you don't like something going on in the political arena step up and make your own changes. How about putting some money together and making a bid for the Running Horse project yourself? Better yet do your own development using your own creative ideas.

I wonder what the Donald offered the Mayor to get the exclusive gift of public funds. I think this might be a project for the grand jury or an ivestigative reporter.
