Piano/Cello Concert
Piano/Cello Concert, Sunday Sept. 2, 3:00 p.m. at First Congregational Church of Fresno. Natasha Kislenko, piano and Alicja Dutkiewicz, cello will perform works by Bach, Schumann and Rachmaninoff.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Ms. Kislenko made her Carnegie Hall solo debut in 1996. Ms. Kislenko collaborates with many famed artists including Sarah Chang, Zvi Zeitlin, James Buswell, Theodore Kuchar, and Gary Gray. Despite her busy schedule as a collaborator and teacher, Ms. Kislenko continues performing solo recitals here and abroad.
Alicja Dutkiewicz, born in Warsaw in 1970, is regarded as one of the most internationally successful Polish musicians of her generation. She is an avid chamber musician who has collaborated with distinguished artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Paul Katz and James Buswell. She recently performed a recital live on National Public Radio with the Australian pianist Piers Lane. Her greatest commitment is to teaching of young cellist often in classes totaling 30 students.

It's so wonderful to see announcements of your concerts every now & then. You were such a musically sensitive accompanist and performer during those years at SMU, and I'm certain you've become even more expressive over time. I remember and miss your humor, both musical and personal, even now. California is lucky to have you on their side of the country. Congratulations on your latest performance!
