We're hearing reports that Fresno State fans were less than orderly at the Coliseum. From the BoiFromTroy comments:

We'll see how welcome FSU is in the Coliseum. Some of the fans were, how do I say, less than perfect. Plus your bad was sophomoric in their halftime "protest"... Had they just accepted things as they were, they would have seen that we had something better up our sleeve to show up both bands!The Fresno State band didn't get to play because the Trojans brought out George Clinton. Any of you who were at the game give us the scoop.
Plus your players were a little dirty with their pushing and shoving (and throwing Reggie's shoe downfield during our 2-minute drill).

Fresno sucks...
Fresno is boring. There is no culture. Sure, there's the Tower District, but only if you're gay or into art and coffee. There are no clubs. When I had my bachelorette party, the hottest place in town was a college bar that had nightly wet t-shirt contests. And, not surprisingly is out of business....

I agree, I despise this city. People in Fresno will force their religion onto you, shoot you, rob you, and not think anything about it. They think they are cool when they ghost ride their vehicle down Blackstone. I can't tell you how many times I've wished they would crash and burn when I see them doing that.
I'll be quite happy when I get to bid this city a permanent farewell.

If you considering going to Freako State.
Dont. Its in a middle of war zone. The city is infested with drugs and murderers and child molesters and rapists.
80 percent of the residents are on welfare.
The citizens and cops do nothing.
Stay away. Go to another school.

fresno really does suck a big d***. but it seems like no one who lives here notices it, and when you see a guy who's not from around here, you'd usually notice them cause they'll look smarter.

I've lived here for almost two years now and I've had all I can take of this dirty, smoggy crap hole called Fresno. I'm moving in a couple months or sooner. If you think this is a great place then you fall under one of two categories. Either you have an amazing psychology and you can even see the beauty in a turd, or you have never lived anywhere else.
The day I leave you will see me driving down the freeway with a huge smile on my face. Thank god I don't have to endure another scorching summer here. I'm surprised the sky doesn't just catch fire with all the crap in it.

Fresno sucks
I currently reside in Fresno. It sucks! Anyone that has ever ventured outside of the central valley can tell you that Fresno sucks.
Many here have the small man complex. They want to be big, but they just don't have it.
It's just a small time want to be town.
The only good thing about Fresno is that it is an hour drive to Yosemite and a little more than two hour drive to the coast.
Back when I went to Fresno
Back when I went to Fresno State, people in the area used to drive with their turn signals on all the time. Do they still do that?
I live over 100 miles away now, closer to the SF bay area than to Fresno. About 15 years ago, there was a restaurant here that was threatened with a lawsuit because their name was similar to that of a restaurant in Fresno. As if people in the town where I live wouldn't drive over 100 miles to eat in Fresno just because this restaurant had the same name. And as if they wouldn't want to go somewhere closer, say SF or Sacramento instead.
People in Fresno are kind of myopic sometimes. Fresno State is a great school, though.
