No Ohmega Watts tonight

We hear tonight's open mic jam at the Starline will not be featuring hip hop artist Ohmega Watts. The artist is on a big international tour and was to stop in Fresno on his way to Los Angeles. Rumor has it that a petition against hip hop shows was circulated, and it got enough signatures to have the artist pulled. This follows the deadly shooting at Club Fred last week.

If anybody has better info, please share with the rest of us.
