The show last night was the most fun we've had in Fresno in a long time. Partly because while we'd seen Aaron do his solo acoustic thing, this was the first time we had the chance to see the whole band rock out, and partly because we rediscovered Red Bull and Vodka. Earlimart's recordings are masterful, intricate works with a lot of fancy sounds, but it was great to see the band take the same songs and put on a high energy, intense rock show. The Great Northern were a special treat; the bf/gf duo of Solon and Rachel make beautiful, dreamy music. You can download a few tracks at their site. Pinkeye rocked as per usual. Everyone seemed to have a smashing good time. Fresno love all around.
