I'm traveling to Spain in 3 weeks and will be visiting the Prado. A friend of mine that went this summer said she took pictures inside the museum. I was surprised having always been told that the flash from cameras degrades the pigments in inks amoung other things. I have also assumed there are copyright issues. The museum's site doesn't indicateif photos are allowed.

So did my friend "get away" with something( she said she didn't use a flash btw) doany of you havefirst hand knowledge that confirms this? If its true I will take a better camera.
