great music - see the matinee today
last night was such a beautiful show. i enjoyed the whole orchestra, but the guest artist was wonderful. i haven't seen a lot of concert pianists, but i was blown away by valentina lisitsa's talent and energy. it was crazy, she seemed to be singing the notes along with playing them, like a guitar player. if you have time (and money), catch the matinee today @ 2:30. it's definitely worth it.
and yes, i'll be there again showing my art. but don't come for that. come for the great music, the amazing performance.
music & art
not only can you hear a wonderful performance, but you can also see the artwork of edward stewart* displayed in the lobby.
