Don Caballero formed in 1992 and each of their five albums since then have been critically acclaimed. The band's mostly instrumental music has been highly innovative and had few precursors. High dexterity guitar tapping techniques, strange time signatures, dramatic tempo shifts, and most importantly band leader Damno Che's (aka The Octopus) explosive and unconventional drumming style are reasons why Don Caballero has helped to define the genre of "math rock".

Enablers (Oakland) will deliver their own brand of up-tempoed rock to kick-off the evening.
