The River Parkway Trust is pleased to present a reading and book signing by John Renning Phillips, the newly published author of The Good Intent: The Story and Heritage of a Fresno Family. John Renning Phillips is the great-grandson of William Walker Phillips, the second owner of Riverview Ranch, now known as the Coke Hallowell Center for River Studies. John Renning Phillips dedicated the book to his father in honor if his 80th birthday. The book offers a glimpse into early Fresno history, and the reading is sure to please history buffs and literature lovers alike.
