This event showcases local businesses and people in the community who are making a difference by sacrificing their time, energy, and resources to improve the overall dynamics and quality of life for all residents in Fresno. This years awardees include: developer, Tom Beggs, of Central Cities Properties, Vurdell Newsome, retired educator, Mary Curry, former President of FUSD, Valley Small Business Development Corp., Cornerstone Church/Cornerstone Foundation, and Ken Quezner, community advocate.
