Poet B.H. Fairchild was born in Texas and grew up in the small towns that dot the Midwest plains of west Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

The first time I met Tim Z. Hernandez was in 2000, when he performed his poetry at Arte Americas in downtown Fresno for the first time.
