The mayor is traveling to Missouri this weekend to meet with Forest City about bringing Bass Pro to downtown Fresno.

The city council heard plans yesterday from Forest City for the south of stadium project.

Apparently all our whining and indigent preaching was for not naught. Bass Pro decided to open its first California store in Manteca instead of Fresno.

Fresno has a reputation for train collisions.
