Theatre Ventoux Presents ROGUE YEAR ROUND at the Starline! Tanjora and "Jesus in Montana"
On Sunday, September 30, come down to the Starline, 831 E. Fern, to see two of the most popular shows of Rogue 2007. The evening will begin with the captivating Tanjora, Fresno’s first Tribal Belly dance troupe, performing the improvisational formats of Tribal Fusion and American Tribal Style to both traditional and modern music. Following Tanjora, Barry Smith returns to the Starline stage with his award winning “Jesus in Montana: Adventures in a Doomsday Cult.” This autobiographical, multi-media show, which was a sell-out at Rogue 2007, ponders the humorous side of faith, beliefs and everyday cult life, as told from the perspective of a disillusioned dishwasher in Aspen Colorado. Admission is $10. Doors open at 6:00, show stars at 6:30. No latecomers will be admitted after intermission. This evening is rated PG-13.
Location: The Starline, 831 E. Fern

...finally
After taking tickets, yakking with the performers, and doing everything BUT actually see the shows,
---I get to.
(yaaaay, I win.)
-For the uninitiated (sp?) these two shows were SRO on nearly all nights, during this past spring's Rogue
-for good reasons.
This stuff is part of what makes ROGUE so great,
---and the opportunity for people to 'once again, for the first time,' catch these acts...?
Way cool.
Don't miss these shows... (trust me on this.)
