about me: I moved back to Fresno (by way of North Hollywood) and started out as a midnight-3am DJ on a radio show called AudioHarvest two years ago, and have been on a mission ever since to bring the very best in commercial free radio to the Fresno market.
I'm NOW the KFSR Program Director and have been using every opportunity to have people discover our impressive programming schedule...including my brainchild: the Afternoon Eclectic. Every weekday from noon-6pm you'll hear a mix of indie rock, reggae, soul, electro, acoustic, trip-hop, and more....
The radio industry is a completely different animal than it was even just a few years ago. The commercial radio stations in Fresno are the LEAST of my worries. To tell you the truth, I don't even really consider them to be true "competition."
But I AM, however, competing with an ever-growing number of iPods, CD players, internet/satellite radio broadcasts, and every other outlet that people like ME are now using to access great music. Every outlet IN THE WORLD(!)
