about me: Since 2008, Soular Power has been bringing the traditional sounds of Motown, Stax and other classic soul and funk artists back to the live stage. They show rarity among their peers by taking their choreographed, engaging and high-energy performance with them wherever they go. From their first performance, they have been playing to sold out and enthusiastic audiences throughout California. Their ability to connect with their audience and get people on the dance floor is unprecedented in today’s live music scene.
Soular Power features an intense, driving rhythm section accompanied by a tight, experienced horn section. Their sound is a definitive throw-back to the classics of yesteryear. Influences from Otis Redding and Al Green to Earth, Wind and Fire and Stevie Wonder ensure an experience that is not only appealing to a large audience, but also unforgettable.
With a desire for their fans to experience the energy of their live performance at home, Soular Power recently began writing and recording original material. Their debut record is slated for release in the Summer of 2009.
